it's all in the way you look at it. sometimes you have to get off the bus and see it displayed on a table all by itself. then you realize for the first time that it has a color, a taste, a shape, a smell. you realize it because the spargel on this table has a different color, taste, shape, and smell then the spargel you've always known. but it's still spargel. and then you notice the sign advertising a spargel festival. and you think "celebrate spargel?" that's right...celebrate spargel.

A New Article from Yours Truly
Check out my latest article, which appears online at the daily travel magazine, Brave New Traveler. Next year at about this time, I'll let you know if my advice is worth the paper it's not written on.
Good article. i think I will have to check out more of their articles. I didn't really like the pics though. I am sure you didn't have anything to do with that though. Congratulations.
Um, Lisa, it depends. We're not adverse to the idea since we're both comfortable traveling alone, but at this point we don't have anything lined up. If we find that we both really want to do something different when we're in some country or if we're driving each other nuts, we would do it. We'll have to play it by ear.
he he, I thought that was you in the picture at first too, but then I thought, "that can't possibly be Jeff with that long hair--who is that guy?!" and then I realized it wasn't actually you :)
