Figuring it Out

I am not sure how this is all going to work out. I've never been good at keeping things up-to-date, and I don't always get along so well with computers. We have our differences. Mainly, I like things simple, direct, and easy to understand, while computers tend to like things that seem much more complicated than necessary. Who made up the language computers think in anyhow? Probably some person who keeps a journal in a secret code that will never be decoded by anyone because it has no rhyme or reason to it. Something like Greek. Okay, Greek probably does make sense, but when I was in the bookstore today looking through Greek language books, I couldn't begin to make sense of anything. Foreign languages are hard enough when they use an alphabet I can recognize. Greek is impossible. I can't even guess at what the word sounds like. With "normal" foreign languages, I have found that I can say the words, but just not have any clue what they mean. With Greek, I can't say it, translate it, define it, or write it (I feel like I should say draw rather than write). Next year should be interesting. Here's to sign language.
